Plot Summary

Players are told the story of Tower Defense: Lost Earth as they engage in Campaign mode. Years of humans neglect to Earth have resulted in resource deficit. In a hopeful search of a new habitat, humans travel across the galaxy after a probe previously launched. As they observe their surroundings and begin to set up a base, they are attacked the land’s natives, threatened by newcomers’ invasion. A war breaks out with little speculation about alien creatures unaffected by ghastly conditions of the foreign planet.

Gameplay

Tower Defense: Lost Earth stays true to its classic tower defense game play structure. Player must protect his base from monsters using a wide range of towers. Placing the right towers to counter the mix of various enemy abilities is the key to victory. Towers can be upgraded to cover wider range with more impactful damage. Special Weapons are one of the most striking features of Moonblossom’s Tower Defense: Lost Earth. Gravity Shift, an advanced, new control mechanic, is embedded for some of these weapons to employ unique qualities of the touch screen devices. Special Weapons can be used to cause additional damage and help defeat the alien waves as they get stronger. Tower Defense challenges users to strategically place towers and keenly utilize special weapons.

Modes

Tower Defense: Lost Earth can be played in Campaign, Challenge, and Special Missions modes. Campaign mode reveals the story of the captain’s progress across the hostile world, and Challenge mode tests player’s strategic ability against boss enemies. In November 2011, the game was updated with Special Missions and additional IAP(in-app purchase) option.
All modes can be played in Easy, Normal, and Hard modes to meet player’s needs. Various medals can be obtained for clearing each stage. The game supports linkage to Apple’s Game Center, Facebook, and Twitter.
